As Christopher Norton’s successor, Christian Clerc has just taken over the reins as General Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel George V and Regional Vice-President in charge of the Four Seasons hotels in Milan, Florence, Geneva and Marrakech.

Hailing from Switzerland with a perfect command of French, Christian Clerc knows Paris well as he worked there at the start of his career. This said, he is a citizen of the world as a result of his 20 years’ experience acquired abroad.

Having passed his diploma in hotel management at Lausanne’s Ecole Hôtelière, Christian Clerc started his career in 1989 at the Hôtel Intercontinental in Geneva. He joined the Four Seasons group as Hotel Manager of the Washington hotel in 2000, before becoming General Manager of Four Seasons Punta Mita in Mexico.

In 2006, he was promoted to Regional Vice-President, taking on responsibility for the Mexico City and Costa Rica Four Seasons hotels. He then became General Manager and Regional Vice-President of the Ritz-Carlton Chicago before managing no less than seven establishments on a regional level from the Washington Four Seasons Hotel.
